Will helped us turn a complex environmental issue into a concise video for our Indiegogo campaign. The short film helped us raise $38,000 in just 4 weeks. Looking forward to working with him again!

Will’s films and still images have been fundamental to our success and impact as an organization. He’s a pleasure to work with and goes above and beyond in helping us think about our marketing needs, and then playing that out in his artwork. He gets projects done quickly, and most importantly he really understands the human experience in nature and on rivers, and knows how to capture that and convey it to the outside world. Truly first rate.
— Travis Winn, Founder of Last Descents River Expeditions
During the Source to Sea and Down the Colorado Expedition I most enjoyed Will’s ambition to tackle large-scale projects and his ability to think well outside the box. He wasn’t going to just make a documentary about the Colorado River, he was going to see the whole watershed, paddle thousands of miles and bring that story to important audiences across the West and beyond. In this ambition, there is also his desire to bridge audiences and distinct communities through film and adventure—this mindset has brought incredible coverage to the issues he investigates and documents.
His abilities as a filmmaker are well matched as a critical thinker, capable of seeing the “bigger picture” and conveying stories that are often complex and multi-faceted. In this sense, he brings great knowledge to the table about the environment, sustainability and the roles that different stakeholders play in complex environmental management. He doesn’t stray away from those issues that are difficult to document.
